Virtual Participation

EUSIPCO 2021 was aiming to be a live onsite networking experience for presenters and attendees in Dublin Ireland. In addition, EUSIPCO 2021 wanted to facilitate presentations and online attendance as much as possible to provide a more inclusive experience (e.g.  for those who cannot travel, or those who may be affected with travel restrictions due to COVID19, etc.).

However due to ongoing pandemic, decision has now been made (May 2021) that EUSIPCO 2021 will be online only.

To increase research impact and dissemination, all paper presenters will be requested to submit a recorded video presentation in advance of the event in addition to their camera ready papers.

Pre-recorded video format for the virtual platform:

In addition to their camera ready papers (PDF files), authors will be asked to submit a  pre-recorded video.

Authors are invited to be concise in the video presenting their papers (shorter is better) and we are providing the following recommended  guidelines:

  • ‘Lecture’ session papers:  the duration of the video is recommended to be in between 10 to 15 minutes long
  • ‘Poster’ session papers: the duration of the video is recommended to be in between 3 to 5 minutes long

If suitable, videos for Oral session paper can be shorter than the recommended timeframe while likewise videos for poster session can be longer than the recommended timeframe. However the maximum duration for videos is set to 15 minutes

More information about the video format is now provided at Video_Instructions.pdf

The webform for video submission is accessible  on CMS (see “Presentation upload”).
